Darrell Lee Congleton

CONGLETON, Darrell L. (age 81) Darrell was born on July 11, 1933 in Milan WA to Byron and Evelyn Congleton. He graduated from Mead High School, where he broke records playing basketball. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he went to work for Western Electric, where he stayed until his retirement. Darrell married his high school sweetheart, Allene Baker, in 1954, and they were happily married for over 60 years. Along with Allene, Darrell is survived by his daughter, Tammi Bouchard of Colbert, son Robert Congleton (Georgia) of Seattle, and grandson Joseph Bouchard of Kent. Special thanks to the staff at Cornerstone Adult Services for their excellent care and attention. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made to Hospice or the Alzheimer's Foundation. Graveside services to be held Monday, August 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Peone Cemetery.
