Chester J. Wellington

Chester J. Wellington Captain USAF Retired passed way November 7, 2011 at the Spokane Veterans Home. Chuck is survived by his stepdaughter and son-in-law, Patricia (Stanton) Handley of Colville, WA; his friend and companion, Jackie Crane; grandchildren, Jerry Evans of Gainesville, VA, Chantille Sandi, and Rachelle Evans of Spokane, WA; and six great grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death. Chuck was a loyal member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He loved to dance and travel. His passion was fishing. In a boat, standing in a stream, or along the shoreline, Chuck would drop a line if it looked promising for a catch. Chuck will be truly missed. “We love you, your Family.” Funeral service with military honors will begin at 3:00PM on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake.
